Injustice 2 was announced almost a month ago and of course fans are excited for this game but should we be concerned about this upcoming title?

Now Netherrealm Studios has always release great fighting games. Recent games such as Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice and Mortal Kombat X. All these games had great reviews but the biggest problem that’s been luring around is that Netherrealm always releases a Complete or Ultimate Edition of their games.

This has been a pattern that’s been going on since Mortal Kombat 9. Mortal Kombat 9 was released on April 19th 2011. Later on Netherrealm releases Mortal Kombat 9 the Komplete Edition on February 28th 2012. This Komplete Edition featured all the DLC characters and DLC costumes for $59.99.

Injustice was released on April 16th 2013 by Netherrealm Studios. Later in that same year Injustice Ultimate Edition was released on November 12th 2013. The Ultimate Edition just like Mortal Kombat 9’s Komplete Edition featured all the DLC fighters and DLC costumes for $59.99 and boy were there a lot of DLC costumes in Injustice.

Last but not least we have Mortal Kombat X. This game was released on April 14th 2015 and almost a year later on March 1st 2016 Mortal Kombat XL was released and just like the other Komplete Edition's it featured all DLC characters and DLC costumes for $59.99.

I’m pretty sure most people see the pattern here. Netherrealm always seems to release a Complete Edition or an Ultimate Edition. Gamers that bought all these titles from the original release date for about $59.99. Then they bought the season pass that cost $19.99. The season pass contain four DLC fighters and costumes. Now you add the season pass with the game round that up to around $80 with tax. Next there are a couple of DLC costumes that aren’t part of the season pass. Costumes cost about 1.99.. Injustice released two DLC characters after the first set of DLC characters. Both characters cost $4.99. Mortal Kombat X released another patch of DLC characters that cost $19.99. So if you bought all these items you pretty spent close to $100 or over. Now if you buy the Complete Edition you get everything for only $59.99.

With all this information should gamers buy Injustice 2 when it comes out if Netherrealm is going to release a Complete Edition in less than a year? I know without a doubt Injustice 2 will be a great game but should gamers just wait until the Complete Edition? Gamers will save some money if they do. I want gamers to enjoy their game but I don’t want to see them getting cheated by buying the game before the complete edition. It can be difficult for some people waiting for the Game of The Year Edition because they are eager to play the new game now. Some gamers might actually buy Injustice 2 if it goes on sale during the holidays. Let me know what you guys think. Should you buy Injustice II when it comes out or do you wait until the Complete Edition?
